Summer Reading Vacation

Calling all astronaut recruits, creatures from Mars, and Mission Control!

Join us for a Space Adventure Summer Reading Vacation!

Neighbors’ House is excited to host another Summer Reading Vacation with our partner churches and organizations all throughout DeKalb County! This FREE program is open to all students, entering grades K-5. Thank you to our generous donors for making this program possible!

ACTIVITIES

  • Space themed read alouds

  • Group games & activities

  • Buddy reading with adult mentors

  • Alien, astronaut, and rocket crafts

  • Devotions about our Creator God and His design for our lives

Open Programs

  • Christ Community Church Outreach Center (DeKalb)
    July 8-12, 6-8pm
    316 N. 6th St. DeKalb
    No pre-registration required, but preferred. Walk in space is limited!

  • Westminster Presbyterian Church (DeKalb)
    July 15-19, TIME TBD - check back soon!

  • Mason Manor Complex (Sycamore)
    July 22-25, 3-5pm
    Mason Manor Clubhouse, Sycamore
    Directions: turn onto Mason Ct from Route 64, and follow it all the way to the end. Mason Court will dead-end into the parking lot for the Clubhouse!
    No pre-registration required, but preferred. Walk in space is limited!
